Following earlier
careers in banking and hospital administration in Atlanta, Ben has been
on staff with Campus Crusade For Christ for the last 30 years, 25 of
them in Jacksonville. Ben came to faith in Christ at age 25, following
a two year spiritual search that began while he served in the US Army in
South Vietnam. Since that time he has devoted himself to the
fulfillment of the Great Commission and has a real love of evangelism
and discipleship.
Ben’s life verse is
Romans 8:28 “And we know that God causes all things to work together for
good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His
purpose.” It has been a true source of strength and peace during the
tougher times of his life. Ben and his wife Diane have been blessed
with four children, ranging in age from 27 to 21, and one granddaughter.
All are currently living in the Jacksonville area.
Ben received his
Bachelor of Arts degree from Davidson College in 1965, his Masters of
Science Degree in Urban Life from Georgia State University in 1972, and
his Masters in Christian Ministry degree from The Orlando Institute in
2004.
Ben is the Director of the CDTC Jacksonville. |
